DD, the founder of Westar,  has combined his extensive technical background with his sales and marketing experience to successfully own and operate Westar Rep Company, since 1985.

Prior to starting Westar, D held sales positions with Motorola Semiconductor where he specialized in the sale of MC68000 microprocessors, MC6805/09 microcontrollers and memory, and Fujitsu where he specialized in sales of ASIC and memory.

Before getting into sales, D spent nearly 15 years in electronic systems and circuit design, ending his engineering career as Chief Development Engineer with Anaconda Telecom, now Ericsson Communications.  He became an expert at both analog and digital designs and was one of the pioneers in analog and digital subscriber loop carrier systems.    D holds 2 U.S. patents for telecom circuits.  D earned a BSEE from California State Polytechnic University.
